WELCOME TO THE PHUKET VAGABONDS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
Your Rugby Club in Phuket, Thailand
FOR THE LOVE OF RUGBY
First established in 1993, the Phuket Vagabonds have been the sole representative of contact rugby in Phuket for almost 30 years.
During that time, the Vagabonds have played host to visiting domestic and international teams and competed in tournaments throughout South East Asia. The clubs most recent accolades include having been crowned Thailand 7s Champions for the Southern Region in September 2020 and run-ners up at the Krabi Rugby 10s tournament in December 2020.
Throughout the clubs duration, the Vagabonds have welcomed players from all over the world. Some, long term Phuket residents others transient expatriates and visiting tourists. Currently the club boasts a strong open men’s playing contingent of almost 30 players and 33 junior members of the recently introduced Junior Rugby Academy.
Moving forward, the club aims to further establish itself as one of Thailand’s premier social rugby clubs with the introduction of a women’s team in 2021 and continued development of junior teams as part of the ongoing Academy commitment.
