Born in 2025 as an offshoot of the legendary Vagabonds Rugby Club full-contact team, Phuket Vagabonds Touch Rugby was created to bring the spirit of the game to a wider audience. While our roots are in the grit of full-contact rugby, our Touch squad is defined by a different set of goals: fun, fitness, and lasting friendship.

We believe that rugby is for everyone. Whether you are a retired veteran of the sport or picking up an oval ball for the very first time, our sessions are designed to be inclusive, fast-paced, and—above all—social.

We are proud to be one of Phuket’s most active social sports teams. With an average of 25 participants hitting the pitch every week, you’re guaranteed a great game and a chance to meet a diverse group of people from all walks of life. We focus on the "social" in social sports, ensuring that the camaraderie off the pitch is just as strong as the teamwork on it.

We call the premier 99 Arena in Phuket our home. You can find us under the lights every Monday night, honing our skills and burning off the weekend:

The Vagabonds spirit is all about the journey. We are proud to host bi-annual home tournaments that bring the regional touch community together right here in Phuket.

Looking ahead, 2026 is our year of expansion. We are currently preparing to take the squad on the road, competing in regional tournaments across Southeast Asia. Joining the Vagabonds means more than just a weekly run—it’s an invitation to travel, compete, and represent Phuket on the international stage.
